Originally from Virginia, Shannon developed a passion for craft beer while studying in Richmond. After completing her Mass Communications - Public Relations degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, she launched her career in the industry at a brewery nestled in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. In 2018, Shannon relocated to Atlanta, captivated by the burgeoning beer scene, and has been actively involved with local breweries ever since.

When she's not orchestrating behind-the-scenes chaos, Shannon can be found exploring breweries in the city alongside her husband and their furry companions, Phoebe and Virginia. On occasion, her cats, Luke and Callie, join in the beer-loving adventures too.

Shannon's enthusiasm for the craft beer industry stems from the incredible community surrounding it. Whether connecting with peers and consumers at events or engaging with them on social media, she always seeks to forge meaningful connections over a pint.
